Prayer of the Season:
Almighty and everlasting God,
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, since you have given us grace to
acknowledge the glory of the eternal Trinity by the confession of a true
faith, and to worship the true Unity in the power of your divine
majesty, keep us also steadfast in this true faith and worship, and
defend us ever from all our adversaries; through Jesus Christ, your Son,
our Lord, Amen.

Prayer Ministries
Messiah offers the following prayer ministries:
- Secret Prayer Pals - this women's prayer
ministry pairs confirmed members of Messiah who pray for their
"pals" for a period of six months. At the end of the six months a Prayer
Pal gathering is held and one's "pal" is revealed.
- Prayer Chain - this prayer ministry is open
to any member of the congregation. Upon the receipt of a prayer request for
the chain, a phone relay passes on the prayer requests to members of the
chain who immediately pray for the person, situation, etc.
- Prayer Breakfast - this prayer ministry is a
quarterly gathering (Fall, Advent, Lent, National Day of Prayer) of individuals who
begin the day with breakfast and go to the sanctuary to pray Morning
Prayer.
