Prayer at the Close of the Day: The 2nd Monday after Pentecost

On Monday, June 24, join us for Prayer at the Close of the Day at 7 pm.

God's Old Testament people have a horrid disdain for His will, behaving like unbelievers. But God safeguards them from destruction with the promise of Jesus Christ the Savior. (Isaiah 65:1-9) We too are heirs of this promise, clothed with Christ through the waters of Holy Baptism. The tomb is now powerless; sin & death yield when Christ proclaims the Gospel! (Galatians 3:23-4:7) In this Word, Jesus mends shattered lives, disarms sin with forgiveness, heals with mercy -- all for us! (Luke 8:26-39)
