Prayer of the Season:
Almighty God, you know that we are
set among many and great dangers, and that because of the weakness of
our fallen nature we cannot always stand upright. Grant us your
strength and protection to support us in all dangers and carry us
through all temptations; for you live and reign forever, O Christ.
Amen.

We Believe
- that the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testament are the verbally inspired Word of
God.
- that God is one divine essence in three persons -- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- that human beings are not the product of evolutionary development, but were created
innocent; however, in their present fallen estate, human beings are entirely
depraved, and enslaved in the service of sin.
- that sin is a transgression of the Divine Law, and that human beings are subject to
death and eternal damnation by reason of the guilt that attaches to sin.
- that God in his infinite mercy, resolved to save mankind and that the divine Redeemer
appeared in Jesus of Nazareth, the Son of the Virgin Mary and the Son of God.
- that all who penitently accept Christ as the one and only Savior in sincere faith are
justified in the sight of God and made heirs of salvation.
- that the sacrament of Baptism is a means of grace which truly offers the grace of God
and forgiveness of sin.
- that in the sacrament of the Lord's Supper the recipients of Holy Communion receive, in,
with, and under the bread and wine the true body and blood of Jesus Christ.
- that Christ will visibly return to the earth on the Last Day to judge the living and the
dead.
- that all Christians are royal priests and therefore have free access to God the Father.
