Messiah will hold its weekly Divine Service on Sunday, September 14th at 10:00 am; the service is scheduled to be livestreamed at www.youtube.com/messiahgr, our website and our Facebook page. Bible Class will be held beforehand at 9:00 am, and weekly Sunday School resumes following the Divine Service at 11:15 am.

The cross remains a rallying point for God’s people. To unbelievers, deceived by their own intellects & arrogance, the cross is senseless — certainly no place for the Redeemer of the world. But those who are called, Jews & Greeks, gaze upon the cross of Christ, believe & live. It is critical for the Church to hoist, preach & treasure the cross — for on it we see Jesus, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world. (Psalm 98:1-2, 4, 6; Numbers 21:4-9; 1 Corinthians 1:18-25; John 12:20-33)
