Presenter: Dr. Adam Fancisco. He earned his DPhil from the University of Oxford. He has taught history and theology for nearly two decades in the Concordia University system and is currently a scholar in residence at 1517. His publications include Martin Luther and Islam; Making the Case for Christianity, and The Resurrection Fact.
Description: Scripture exhorts Christians to be ready to give a reason (an apologia) for the hope we have in Christ Jesus to those who ask (1 Peter 3:15). This class looks at the history of and various methods employed by Christian apologists past and present and then focuses on addressing a number of charges made against and challenges posed to the faith today.
