West Michigan Lutheran High School is once again holding its annual Herman’s Boy Sale!
Treat yourself—or someone on your Christmas list—to gourmet coffee, hot cocoa, loose-leaf tea, and fudge. Beautiful gift boxes are also available!

WMLHS Band Conert - Honoring Our Verterans
West Michigan Lutheran will be celebrating our veterans this Veterans Day! Join us for an evening of music and gratitude as we honor our nation’s veterans. Enjoy patriotic selections, folk songs from Vietnam and Canada, and more! Cider and donuts provided.
The concert begins at 7:00 pm and doors open at 6:30 (Fellowship Hall)!
Gather & Give
All congregation members, alumni, and friends of Our Savior Lutheran School are warmly invited to attend Gather & Give on Friday, November 14 at 6:00p. This FREE event is an opportunity to gather with supporters of our school for an enjoyable evening of food, drink, trivia, and more while we give generously to support the students entrusted to our care.

Join us for West Michigan Lutheran Science Day!
Join our area LCMS schools for a fun, hands-on day of water-based science experiments and discovery!
This exciting event is open to students in grades 5–8.
If you are homeschooled or a member of an LCMS church, please register by October 24.
Students should bring a sack lunch and be ready to dive into the science of water—God’s amazing creation!

Beat the winter blues and get ready for some friendly competition! Join us on Saturday, January 24, 2026, for our Winter Warmup Cornhole Classic. Grab a partner and form your 2-man team (or we will find you a partner) for a day of fun, fellowship, and "fierce" cornhole action. We'll have plenty of game-day food and drinks to keep you fueled up as you toss your way to victory. Join us in celebrating Mr. Steve Thompson-American Legion Teacher of the Year!
West Michigan Lutheran High School invites you to join in celebrating Mr. Thompson, who has been honored as the American Legion's Teacher of the Year.
A special recognition will be presented by the American Legion at 11:15 am following the 10:00 am service at St. Mark Lutheran Church on Sunday, October 26. A cake reception will follow.

LWML Rapid Water Zone Rally
Find how a LERT (Lutheran Early Response Team) can serve your neighbors during both ordinary and extraordinary situations. Rev. Robert Wurst, Jr., former LERT Volunteer Manager, will speak at the Saturday, October 18th LWML Rally at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church 310. E. Division St, in Rockford, 9:30 am - 1:00 pm. LWML mites purchased and equipped the very first LERT trailer. LERT is a ministry of our Lutheran Church Missouri Synod's Disaster Relief. Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. Cost is $10. Women will also work together to assemble and fill 50 tray favors for residents at Bishop Hills Nursing Home in Rockford. Contact Linda Blain, sign up at Messiah’s Information Desk, or fill out this form by Friday, October 10th if you plan to attend.

The Lutheran Men’s Ministry Conference is an opportunity for men to gather, grow, and strengthen their faith through fellowship and learning. This year’s conference will feature a variety of engaging activities and opportunities for spiritual and personal growth.

Professional Speaker: Brian Davies serves as pastor of Lord of Glory Lutheran Church in Grayslake, Illinois, and as chaplain for the Grayslake Fire District and the Round Lake Fire Protection District. Rev. Davies graduated from Concordia River Forest (now Concordia Chicago) in 2002, studying communications and biblical languages, and then went on to earn his master of divinity at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis. He is the author of Captivating Conversations: How Christians can Reclaim the Lost Art of Listening (CPH, 2024) and Connected to Christ: Overcoming Isolation through Community (CPH, 2021). He is married to his wife, Elizabeth, who serves as the Mayor of Grayslake. Together they have three children: Kate, Megan, and Luke.
Lunch: Enjoy a delicious lunch while discussing insights and experiences with fellow participants.
Small Group Breakouts: Participate in small group discussions that allow for deeper connection and exploration of topics relevant to faith and community.
