WOMEN'S RETREAT COMING TO MESSIAH - All women are invited to "Jesus is the Light," a retreat sponsored by Lutheran Women in Mission (LWML) Saturday, September 26 from 9:00 am - 2:30 pm at Messiah. Lunch will be cooked and served by Kurt Veitengruber - Cost: $10. Pastor Andrew Bartholomew will lead women in the Bible Study: "Jars of Clay: Christ's Light Shines Through Our Weaknesses." Small Sunshine Bags will be assembled by women to pass out to those needing a little "light" in their day. Fun times will be had in the game, "Top Ten", and three mysterious visitors will drop by to extend an invitation to "Be Transformed." Pastor Mark Gilson will lead the day's closing devotion before women head home. 

The retreat ingathering is long sleeve shirts, new or gently used, sizes M - 3XL, or new t-shirts sizes M - 3 XL for vets at the Michigan Veteran's Facility in Grand Rapids.
