Behold God’s woeful judgment! He despises gluttony, rejects hypocritical offering, and silences the cacophony of the faithless singer! Unbelievers shall not survive the day of the Lord. But aha! Believers will be raised from the dead at the coming of Jesus & the resounding of the trumpet blast. For this day of the Lord, we eagerly watch & carefully prepare, knowing that in all justice & righteousness, God will orchestrate terrible condemnation & glorious resurrection. (Psalm 84:1, 3, 9-12; Amos 5:18-24; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Matthew 25:1-13)
